Our Apostolic Christian Faith
Apostolic Christian faith today is the same today as that demonstrated in the Book of Acts and established on the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out for the first time in the first century:
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:1-4).
After the Holy Ghost fell on the first 120 lost souls in the “upper room”, Out of faith, Peter preached the first sermon of the church age, beginning at Acts 2:14 and culminating with the lost souls asking the following question:
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Acts 2:37
Then in the next verse Peter responds to their question:
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Immediately after that about 3000 lost souls were born again, in the identical manner as preached by Jesus:
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:3-5) .
So out of the day of Pentecost, the Church was born and the faith grew exponentially by the acts of the Apostles as chronicled in the Book of Acts. Out of these acts of the Apostles, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was declared for the world to follow in the New Testament. Of course, this did not include any Trinitarian doctrine that was penned some 250 years later in 325 AD at the treaty of Nicaea.
Our Apostolic faith today is based on the acts and teachings of the Apostles, who were taught by the mighty God, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we present to you our Proclamation of Apostolic Christian Faith, we suggest you open the Online Bible to read the scriptures that we list by each of the proclamations.

Proclamation of Apostolic Christian Faith
We Believe:
In the one true and living God,maker of all creation; the omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient everlasting Father; the source of all goodness, truth and love; who manifested himself in the flesh as Jesus Christ for the purpose of redemption and in the Holy Spirit for the purpose of intervening in the lives of people. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1-4 & 14, II Corinthians 13;14; I Timothy 1:17;3:16:6:13-16)
In the divine inspiration of the Scriptures, and that the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are the Word of God given through people, and that the Scriptures we possess today are the sufficient rule of faith and practice and the final authority for truth and salvation. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)
In the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which declares that God became our salvation as Jesus Christ who was crucified and died on the cross as the atonement for our sins and that He was buried in a tomb but rose again on the third day, as the Scriptures foretold, and is now exalted as King of kings and Lord of lords. As God manifested in the flesh, he is true God and true man; in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Isaiah 12:2, Acts 10:38-40; I Corinthians 15:1-4; Colossions 2:9)
In the obedience of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the original Apostolic plan of salvation, proclaimed on the Day of Pentecost on the birthday of the New Testament Church, which includes faith in Jesus Christ and declares that one must die to self through repentance, be buried through water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and be spiritually resurrected by receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the joyous experience of speaking supernaturally in other tongues – just as Christians did in the first century. (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 6:6; Romans 6:4; Romans 8:11; Acts 2:1-41; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-6)
In living a life of holiness, both inwardly and outwardly, as a result of the working of Christ in us - the Holy Spirit, for the Word of the Lord declares that all who name the name of Jesus should depart from sin and separate themselves from the evil practices of the present age, and perfect holiness in the fear of God (Colossions 1:27, Ephesians 4:21-24; II timothy 2:19; Hebrews 12:14; 2 Corinthians 7:1).
In practicing genuine Christianity, through love for the mighty God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and people, prayer, faith through obedience to the Bible, heartfelt worship and expressive praise, sharing our faith, commitment to our marriage companions and families, availability to help one another in time of need, honesty and diligence in our employment, honor and respect for our government as it submits to the divine plan for human society, and the dedication of our time, talent, and treasure to advance the kingdom of God on earth, (Romans 12-13; Colossians 3-4).
In the local and universal church, established by Jesus as a unique and special fellowship, and service to God and people, of every believer in the faith must become a part, for it is the body of Christ in the world today, displaying the same miraculous power and spiritual gifts experienced by the early church. (1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:4-16).
In the return of Jesus Christ, that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first and we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15:51-55; I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
In the judgement of all people, when the wicked shall receive their punishment and the righteous shall receive their reward. We believe in the ultimate triumph of righteousness and in life everlasting. (Romans 14:10-12, II Thessalonians 1:6-10; Revelation 8; 20:12-21).
